Since its foundation nearly sixty years ago in the best spots of Mecca, Fakieh Farms has been committed to and recognized as granting the consumer of poultry meat that is characterized with a unique flavor and quality.

Today it occupies a leading position among the giant projects in the Middle East, and is one of the largest integrated poultry projects in the world, as it gives the consumer healthy and fresh products at an affordable price.

Almost sixty years ago, when poultry farms were rarely found in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and chicks were mainly imported from abroad, the determination of Sheikh Abdul Rahman Abdul Qadir Faqih to establish a poultry farm on a commercial level lead him to the signs of a dream on the horizon, thus resulting into the reality of the opening of the first poultry farm in Mecca. In 1380 the first farm was managed for the production of broiler chicken in Taif. Furthermore, a small hatchery and laboratory was established to follow the health status of chicks. In 1392, five farms with a daily production capacity of approximately 15,000 carnivorous birds were developed. Then three mother farms were created for the production of hatching eggs.
